ah....that explains. I'm not on pro yet.

A tips for the players, instead of using the buttons, use the right analog stick for gas + brake. Damn more realistic and cuts your lap times if you use it well.

Its a shame it doesn't have some of the best bikes though....
    RC30's, SP1's, ZX7's, RC45's etc etc Still awesome though.
Would also be nice to have a few older models of the ones it does....I'd love to fang around on my own bike in the game

    Tourist Trophy- PS2 game

Greatest graphics, enough bikes to keep me happy, pretty good game play and at the moment the best bike game out.

    Dont likes:
the frickin 10second pens when ever you go off the track or bump another rider.
It wont do stunts (not even a power mono) like the other games! It wont hit the limiter over jumps either...

I've only had it for a couple of days... does it get better? If it dont I would recomend NOT buyin it

    Tip:
Race with a manual box... the auto is not aggressive enough and you need the box as a kind of wieght shift forward/back and use seperate front/rear break controls so you can back the bike in if you go in too hot.

The most exciting bike on the game: 05 R1 street Hairy Man!

I've got the NTSC version and was very disappointed at the acceleration of the bikes (litre bikes taking... can't remember but it's a lot longer than they should and thats with quick ratios) and it's also almost as if the bikes all have traction control with no apparent way of turning it off. Only way to highside is under braking.

I seriously think it takes about 6 seconds to get to 100 (yes KPH not MPH) on a litre race bike.

So is the PAL release the same?

After all the waiting I was dissapointed also, maybe just the high expectations - I knew it would be average but not easy, its to fucken easy - and I want to turn traction control completely off not half off I want my 190hp bikes to power wheelie etc still it has kawasakis and that I applaude.

Yea it does, done it more than once on Deep Forest. Most the 1000 Superbikes will lift the front up in first. Not high mind you.
