i think its an electrical fault. when i press the down button, the dash lights dull, when the up button is pressed the dash lights dont dull. any suggestions would be great cheers

The instructions are simple...
Def. electrical. Either the switch is poked or the drive motor. More likely one side of the switch circuitry. It could, of course, be simply the 'up' wire is no longer working (off, bad earth etc)
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
