No shes not. But she also doesn't have testosterone running through her body. Females are always going to be slower at any physical sports. Its the nature of their bodies.

I saw her on the news once, they showed some footage of her riding - she's got talent that girl.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Comments:

We got to Glen Helen on Wednesday and they were holding a practise day on Thursday so I decided that I would go and test out the bike and make sure that it was all running sound. The track was a shortened version of the main track and we didn’t do any of the uphills and back sections. We turned up at 8am and I got all geared up for my first practise. I went out in the AMA Pro practise and there were guys like Chad Reed, Mike Alessi, Ryan Villipoto, Andrew Macfarlane, Brett Metcalfe and many more. It was so awesome to be able to ride on the same track as the top pros and these guys really are fast. Other top women where there such as Tarah Geiger, Jessica Patterson, Sarah Whitmore and many more and I was able to see that these girls really do know how to ride. I rode a lot and got the bike dialled in and the temperature was 30 degrees Celsius so it was a big change from New Zealand weather. Other kiwis that also turned up to practise were Shaun Fogarty and Ethan Martens who were there for the practice and then going to drive to Loretta Lynn qualifiers. Also present were Josephine Adlam and Tania Satchwell.

The Racing: The first moto was at 1.15 pm on Saturday. We were sitting on the concrete start waiting to go when someone couldn’t start their bike; so we were kept waiting and my bike overheated and dropped its water on the concrete. I spun on the line and was second last around the first turn and knew that I had to do a lot of catching up to do. I was trying as hard as I could to past on the first lap and was in 11th at the end of the first lap. I kept working hard and found myself behind Sarah Whitmore and we were battling for about 3 laps as well as trying to come through the field. I got up to about 5th by the 4 lap and could see a group of 3 in front of me and 1st place was a little way in front of them. The next lap I came around to the big hill out the back and saw that the race leader Tarah Geiger had crashed and now it was only the group of three in front of me. I pushed hard and managed to catch them and they were holding me up a bit so I was trying to get passed as fast as I could. With about 3 laps to go in the 20min + 1 lap moto I got the lead and pulled away from the group and held on to take the race win. I felt really good on the bike and Jeff, my mechanic and engine builder had done an awesome job on the bike.

Moto 2, I got a better start and was 7th around the first turn. Again I pushed hard on lap one to come through the field and had Jessica Patterson just in front of me. I passed her on the top of Mt Whitney and kept on charging to the girls in front of me. I managed to get up to 2nd place quickly and was behind Alisa Nix. I was right on her tail for the whole moto and I just kept staying close enough and trying to make a pass but couldn’t quite get them to stick. On the last lap I could hear Jessica Patterson getting close so I went for it on the corner before two doubles and passed Alisa Nix around the outside of the corner. I crossed the line with another victory and I was so happy with my ride. I had felt strong on the bike the whole race and I always felt in control and within my limits.

Between Races I had the opportunity to be introduced to the one and only James Stewart and it was awesome. Coming from NZ it is not very often that we get to meet the top AMA Pro riders in the flesh and to be able to meet James was one of the highlights of my day. But what made my day even more was after my race when I was walking back to the truck I saw James and he gave me the big thumbs up and congrats.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Kawasaki NZ and Kawasaki Team Green USA for organising my bike over here and also Jeff for all his efforts on the bike. I’d like to thank all of the team Green Manager’s Reid and Dave for making me feel so welcome and a part of their team. Further I’d like to thank my newest sponsor NZ Motorcycle trader and news for all their sponsorship as without them I probably would not be here. I’d also like to thank Alpinestars and One Industries for all their support whilst I have been here in the States and all over the World. I also need to thank MNZ for all their efforts and help and also all my other sponsors for all their continual support and belief in me. Thanks to Scott Goggles, Silkolene, EVS, Pro Circuit, My Family, Cannon Smith for the Awesome back plates he did at the last minute for me and everyone who has supported me.
