You can go a bit past Whanga - the gravel is in the Tangarakau Gorge,so you limp wrist sports bikers can go to the bottom of the hill after the Moki tunnel.
Yes - The Naki Roads Are Great Would Go For A Ride On Them Anyday.
No - The Naki Roads Are Boring Rather Be Watching Tv.

You should check out the Tarata Saddle . Now that is a great road . Take group ride's out through there at least once or twice , Up it as well as down . Last Ride out there some dude on an SP1 Honda did an excellent Job of following me through there . But was not so great on the second section . $17,500 Damage to his new Bike . Both me & my Mate said he was going to come off at the Pub after the ride . Just trying alittle to hard on a road he didn't know that well . We have all done this at one time or another myself included Sensei

Nah,they're real alright - just a short piece of fence between the strainer posts, the free end has a loop to put over the other end post.Unhook and drag out of the way,or just drop it and let the stock across,,or ride across - then you have to pick it up and rehook the loop,if the fence was put up by Colin Meads and you are a weak shortarse tosser like me - just drop it on the ground and pretend it was like that when you found it.
