    Calling single-sidearm bikers.

    Hi guys,

I am currently finalising the prototype for a single side arm stand. When I came to fitting it to a few bikes I realised that the hollow axle nut internal diameter varies considerably from one model to the next.

Therefore I need to make sleeves to fit snuggly inside them.

    So far I know a Triumph 995 is 28mm
    VFR400 is 31.5mm
MV Brutale is 43mm but I would like to double check it.
But I have no measurements for Ducatis, and all the other models.
I have been round a few shops and measured up, but feel a bit like freeloader.

If anyone out there has one of these bikes, has a vernier scale (and knows how to use it), could you send the dimensions to me????? To the nearest 0.1mm.

    Cheers.

Brutale is 43mm. Just measured it.

New Brutale's come with a stand but it's difficult putting it on with one person.

I have a mate with a Monster & 999 so will ask him tonight.

Hard to use two side arms on a bike.... causes control issues.

Well, I just got my stand.

It is solid and well painted. It should last forever, which is perfect because I plan on keeping it forever.

    Most importantly, it works.

    Thank you!

    Cheers.

Surprises me I thought all hondas would be the same dimensions, i.e. 31.5mm.

    What year is your vfr?
