    Lid Thumping

    Right, the long awaited helmet accident report I was going to post is here. It's based on research done in Britain a few years ago and makes very interesting reading (especially if you have an engineering bent).

    Well worth reading if you don't look after your helmet as well. They're not as indestructable as they look!

    hmm... err.. well maybe not... the file is a 9 page pdf and I need to get it under 2MB (7.8 at the moment) to attach it for downloading

    any suggestions on how to post such a large mother of a file?

    Try copying the text & pics (if any) out of the pdf file and pasting them into a word document.

    Is that the one where the guys dropped the helmets from a 2 storey building and did tests to see if they got weak or not??
