    Stupid Motorcyclist

For once the four wheelers we share the roads with are not at fault and I'm hoping someone knows who this tosser is that I'm about to mention.

After blating around the Riverhead Forestry roads I headed back home along SH 17 / Old Albany Highway going North.

Coming up to the Pine Valley Intersection I see a white commercial van heading south indicating to turn into Pine Valley road. Obeying the law, he stops to give way, I reduce speed from 110kmp/h ish to 90kmp/h.

While I'm still 50 meters away from the intersection a motorcyclist comes up behind him indicating to turn down Pine Valley road as well. I proceed on accelerating to about 95kmp/h and climbing assuming the white commercial van has seen me.

After a few split seconds I am 20 - 30 meters off from the intersection when the motorcyclist pulls out to the right and undertakes the commercial van from behind and cuts in front of me turning into Pine Valley road.

Slam on the anchors and he darts across.

Obviously he was feeling a lot impatient.

The motorcycle was black with red and orange squiggles down the front, it looked like an RG 150 or more likely some sort of old Kawasaki Ninja. The rider was wearing a black leather jacket, black full face helmet and dark blue jeans.

If anyone knows who this fucktard is please do the right thing.

So I should be like you and get pulled over for overtaking a Truck by going around a round about the wrong way, right in front of a cop?

There was no assumption made until after I took responsibility (lookup the many definitions of the word 'assume') and proceeded to accelerate.

But as you said, assumptions are not relevant in this instance.

After all, most on this site 'assume' the road will be in good order, everybody else will ride sensibly, no cops will be around etc.......

So i wasn't the only one riding to day in sub arctic temps?
My ride was mostly uneventful in the pouring rain and icy wind, heading to Dargaville, some bloke in a 4x4 towing a trailor had a go at me at the top of the passing lane heading north into Kaiwaka, he had just passed the Holden behind me and thought it a good idea to pick one more off before the lane finished, but it had already finished and i could see him over the double yellows, Holden driver on the horn, trailor man on the brakes and me thinking whats the fucken hurry c#@t......Momentary Lapse of Reason is a term the springs to mind Swanny, that, and a total fuckhead decision that some people make from time to time........

Sub arctic? Didn't even have the inner lining on my jacket to go with the T-shirt and jeans. Sunny but yes, a wee bit cold on the way back home.

Impatience kills people. Probably no sex for fucktard in the 24 hours previous or not enough

Had a great ride to Coromandel Town this morning and it was great to see everyone behaving themselves. Cages included.

Plenty of sex or south of the Bombays.
