hmm... I clicked on this post thinking it was about 'best way to check your blindspots', or 'how do you check your blindspot' ..One of my most commonly traveled roads (when i'm not working), is Te Rapa Straight in Hamilton [I get my toe down on the Caltex roundabout ], and whenever I change lanes, especially when I'm in 'race mode' [well, as much 'race mode' as my bike will allow], I visciously swing my head around, and if there's no one there, my indicator is on for the half-second it takes for me to jump to that lane

watching that video, it clearly looks like the read-enders fault.. he was too busy thinking about doing a wheelie past the front bike, and checking his controls than noticing the front bike's indicator before visciously accelerating, with no time to stop / move out of the way.. if he had both wheels on the ground, that video wouldn't have been posted as no crash would've occured..

..still, couldn't have been nice for either biker

I can only imagine how pissed off the front rider would be after that one. That would have to hurt!!
