Two Smoker's Round up of KB TD3...

    Hey everyone...

Well after a nice sleep in, Chloe and I left Auckland to go to taupo at about 0830... Rolled up at Taupo at about 1130, and went around checking out who was there, and had a general chat to people...

Then Motoracer (Who is the man) offered me a ride on his R6... well couldnt say no to that, so chucked on my gear and went out with the Medium under 600 group... Well it was my first time back on the track in over 2 months since my massive crash at Pukekohe... WHAT A WICKED FEELING!!!! Missed it so much!!!! MR's bike was mint.... handled beautifully and had a bit of power aswell... Took it nice and easy, and over the next two sessions started picking up the pace and having a bit of a dice with Nicko... Tyres were shagged on the R6 and couldnt get the power down, but it was awesome... Cant wait to get out there on my GSX-R...

The new taupo circuit is awesome, very technical, and suits 600's to a tee...

Riders of the day would have to be Loosebruce, Dss3 and ofcourse Andrew Stroud...

As for wheelies.... Very impressed with the smoothness of MD's stundup wheelies... Squid had the best stunts... then ofcourse the usuals, Death, Cowpoos, WT etc...

As for stoppies, Ol loose Bruce the muppet pulled some mean no footed rolling stoppies...

Best crash (if there can be one) was dss3 arseing off after 1/8th of a lap due to cold slicks...

Huge thanks to Frosty, all the marshalls and staff. MR for letting me ride his R6, and Bugjuice for letting me ride his ZX-6R.... Biggest thanks goes to Chloe, for letting me ride after the horror she saw at Pukekohe...

See you at Puke on the 3rd of June

Ha brilliant. I wouldn't have appreciated that line Quasi if I hadn't spotted TS on Sunday and the partner on his arm..shoulder..waist...hand.. (that's meant in the best possible taste by the way TS). Good to hear you are better after your crash and able to get back on a bike, take it easy out there, bodies need time to recover.
