Yeah tell me about it. In just about every other country, the bike comes with a free race exhaust. Not available in NZ.

I found an after market pipe that removes the green box. It's quite loud now though.

Cough splutter eh what ??? depends what you read I guess, the only properly managed shootout test in the world is the MASTERBIKE shootout, independant of any one magazine, it involved 20 odd riders of varying capabilities as well as the manuafactuers and control tyres etc etc etc, and sorry to burst ya bubble but the ZX10 has won it in 2004 and 2005 and guess what the new ZX10 has just cleaned it up again for 2006, soory dude .

Glad your bike is going good, when we get to see it?

Im away in Aussy for a bit but in about three weeks I want to do a ride around coro or somewhere, hope you can make it and bring your new toy se we can compare toys.

    nice bike you got there!!!

Bike journalists are known to be the most objective and unbiased people in the world too.
I seem to remember how they all bagged Jap bikes in the dim past. Going on about things like Laverda Jotas being the best thing since sliced bread etc etc.
    Where's Laverda now?
    Read 5 tests of a ZX10 and you'll get 5 different opinions.
I'd wager that if you put equal riders on a Zx10 and a CBR over a bumpy unknown road, the CBR guy will win.

Daytona pipped the GSXR600, CBR600, Kwaka 600, Yamaha R6 and Ducati 749 in the USA medium bike class. Someone posted a link to the results and the score cars on the forum. Not sure where now. It's a nice looking bike too.
They reckon it was best all around for road riding.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

You guys are just too easy to wind up. Coincidently, I heard Suzuki are changing their distribution model for Gixxers. They are replacing their dealer network with vending machines. They will be on every main street corner next to a recyling bin for the old ones.

You too can own a Gixxer!
