    Another use for monitors.

We have read about using your computer monitor for drying wet gloves... especially at work but I am currently using mine for drying the helmet visor. With todays pissing rain, it deserved to be removed from the helmet and rinsed under warm water (dont use your fingers - just let the water flow over both sides), a quick shake to get the excess water off, and then onto the computer monitor.

Result... beautifully clear visor lens! No smears/smudges, etc!

Just right for a ride home in the pissing rain this afternoon...

    Good idea

The weather is real bad alright. Took ages to get to work today cos of all the prangs.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

Yep... I felt pretty guilty driving the car to work while all the wet bikers rode past.

    Get some Rain-X, good stuff...
    Can get it from Repco/Appco.
Also do an anti-fog, not that good but better than nothing.
I dry my gloves over my muffler, one of the pleasers of keeping your bike in your work place.

Yea? Never had that happen but there are so many different kinds of plastic out there.
What sort of helmet are you using?

You'd have to be super carefull not to get water into your moniter? I dont think the boss man would be happy with you getting water into a monatier and frying it :S
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
