    Commuting in Auckland this morning

Who else took their viagra (to harden up) and took the bike in this morning?
Didn't see a single other bike from westgate to the city. There's hardly any bikes at uni either. I haven't ridden in weather that bad for quite a while, even rode an SV325 for a little bit towards the end of the journey.

    I deserve a kit kat.

    /end of rant.

I was in the car feeling guilty but I saw four riders on the road between Glen Eden and Ponsonby

Pfffft. I took the bike today. Still much better than being trapped in traffic with all the morons aimlessly commuting to their meaningless jobs.

I can't get over the amount of diesel that's on the roads through the city. What are VINZ doing?

Looked out of window, pulled blankets back up over my head and bravely (very bravely mind you if you know the high commander) instructed my wife to deliver a cup of tea. I am now recovering from the resultant beating.
No, I did not ride to work, its pissing down!

I think they've been employed by Uncle Helen to hole the tanks of economical diesel vehicles in a bid to generate more tax from the extra diesel sold.

    Cool

Well I had my Virago out there on the nor-western motorway this morning from Massey to Te Atatu South around 8.15am this morning.

There was a m/bike ahead of me, but then I lost sight of it.

A nice fine drizzle it was too,
Not too heavy and not too light.
    Just Right.

I did and some fuck decided to ride my tail far to close for my liking, even when I slowed to around 20 ks at the bottom of the bridge he would not back off, so quick burst to some kmhr then slowed back down as I approached traffic and here this cunt again rides my tail, quick emergency brake to see if he was ready, not really nearly hit the back of me (was watching ready to go from braking to throttle in the mirrors) and he finally gets the message to back off a touch.

A WARNING TO ALL TAILGATERS if you happen to follow me to close again in weather like this mornings I will slow, if you do not back off I will continue to slow and the stop and then come and remove your wing mirror for you!

Except when you've greatly underestimated the time it'll take you to finish an assignment, then you'd have to get up early, ride to uni in the rain and then winge about it on KB.
