Most of the above is marketing spiel. Especially the power claims. Most independent comparisons showed very little difference at the wheel.

I agree with the better aeros though, it's noticeable from the first ride.

Suspension is less harsh, agreed.

Most reports said that the model is a huge improvement because they liked the looks more, and said that it's a far better road bike, which I agree with. I still think the '03/'04 is potentially a better track bike.

I haven't ridden both as much as you have, but have ridden each more than once, and for a decent distance.

My opinion, reasons already stated above. Geometry more aggressive, lighter, quicker turning.

Fair enough aye. Puke is a hole. A dangerous hole. Fun track for bigger bikes, just needs more than 30cm of run off at critical points.

I used to go fairly hard on it, but don't think I'll do so again.
