    Daytona Possibly For Sale

I'm doing a bit of research with a view to a private sale of my bike so I can get me one of them sexy 675's.

So, are they any people out there semi-seriously wanting to buy a Triumph Daytona 650 in red?

And if you were wanting to buy one, what would be a "serious" fair price you'd be willing to pay?

The bike in question now has 10,000km's on the clock & is about to get its 10,000km service at Bayride. It had the first service & in-between oil change completed on the dot that each was required. It has a carbon fibre Micron exhaust can fitted & the original pipe included in the sale, it also has Ventura headlight protectors & Ventura pack rack system installed.

You missed the reference to the 675 in the first line, didn't you?

Slim, ANZA Pamerston Nth have a grey 675 in at the mo so ring them to see what sort of trade-in you can get. I've found some shops seem to so keen to sell a new bike that you can get a good trade-in. Well it's worked some of the time for me. Atleast it will give you a clue for a starting point.
Oh, and go for it. I've had a ride on a 675, you wont regret it.

I didn't miss the reference,I'm just dead jealous that you would consider parting with such beautiful irionmongery after such a short space of time...
P.S. My very first saturday job as a spotty youth aged 15 was delivering T120 & T140 Bonnevilles from the Factory in Coventry to my Local Triumph dealeship in Birminham (Vale Onslow's) I used to earn more on a Saturday morning by delivering two bikes than I could earn busting my guts on a building site(it was more fun too)
if you must have one get a yellow one !!!!!

Slims Red 650 is a very sexy beast, who ever buys it will have a stand out bike.

The 675 must be unreal for her to be thinking of changeing with only 10000 Km on the clock.

    * Note to self: go check out the 675 next day off

Better be quik. Slim might not let that one sit there very long lol.

Word of warning. You'll lean farther forwardon the 675 than the 650. Seat feels a bit higher and bars a bit lower.

Motorcycle online picked the 675, top bike in their recent "600" test! They reckon its brilliant, in a field of brilliant 600's - Triumph have hit the spot. The 636 and new R6 tied for 2nd!

Yeah, I know that, having sat on one of these beasts at Phillip Island last year. They are really skinny too, in a 916 sort of slimness.

Sniper - I thought they were all pre-sold too. Must have a serious chat with Lindsay on Saturday while the 650 gets its service.

Cajun - yep, if I can get a good offer (which none of you guys have ventured a price for yet, btw) I'd like to sell & get the 675. I was hoping for the region of $14,500 since I can't afford more than a couple of grand changeover price.

But it's still gotta be red though ... sorry guys.
