Yamaha (YZF) Frame Paint Colour Code?

Hey Everyone,

I am after the yamaha frame paint colour code, I hae searched the internet and forums numerous times and found nothing!

Any help would be much appreciated.

if its the dark met blue colour i have some and the silver

Yep, the metallic blue of the frame.

Do you have the colour code so I can get it mixed up at linkup or similar?

Hey,

If your just looking to respray your frame your local Yamaha dealer can sell you a spray can which is about $15 i think.

The paint is manafactured by PJ1 and the paint code is 17-YB8 (Yamaha Blue 1998-2005)

I got this paint from Red Baron in auckland but most other Yamaha dealers should be able to get it.

There are TWO colours available-be sure you get the right one!! youre in Hamilton? Im sure Waikato Yamaha will have some in stock, We're in Akl- we usually have it here, most people use the PJ1 paint- the 97 paint is darker... HINT- Prime the area first, the PJ1 paint doesnt stick at all well to bare metal
