    Undertaking Cagers

I know this is a old issue, however, what is going on in cagers heads?

7.20 this am on Lake Road, just gone through Bayswater lights following traffic....cage in front say 2 cars lengths in front......see this geezer in a black 4x4, in my mirror (yes mirrors do work on SV's) coming at me preetty fast for conditions and wants to undertake.....where was he going.......I mean I was only 2 car lengths behind the car in front......it just don't make sense.....what was he thinking.....or not as was the case.

Sorry guys no broken mirror jobs, no verbal, just stuck me 'and out, showed one finger to show 1 lane and did the old screwy finger on helmet job......he soon cottoned on, got to next lights, looked at him and to be fair he did acknowledge....what I do not really know.....

Just a wee rant....'appens a lot on Lake Road.....have a great day one and all and be safe.....you see I have finally realised that coming from Devonport 'cardy' suburb, I really do need to wear a pink cardy to be seen......!!!...those yellow vests just are not in now....:spudwave:

yep, cagers suk thats for sure.
I get it all the time in Hams, had an older woman do it to me the other day.
I shouted to her to fuck off and she just kept on doing it, despite me being right next to her open window at the time. She kept trying to knock me off, swerving towards me as if I was in the wrong.
I just gave it a squirt and pushed in front of her.
When will they learn.......if I ever get knocked off I'll be jumping on the cunts bonnet with my size12 motorcycle boots

Geeze mate........you mean Aucklandattitude has creaped to Hamilton......I can never understand why this happens.....it is unnerving sometimes cause you end up worrying about what is going on behind as well as ahead.
.....I mean of all the things cagers do, this type of dumdarse carry on should be obvious......

    Ride safe..........get some size 14's

I've been undertaken 4 times. Scares the fucking shit out of me every time. The last time I was indicating to do the left turn - luckily I saw them at the last moment in my mirror. Just hauled on the anchors without turning. Left me shaking for 1/2 a day that.

    Cagers pushing in

Have found in the past that bar ends make quite a crease on their bodywork as they take off from beside you & you just sit there till they are clear. As you are not moving it makes it hard for them to say you hit them.

basically we should be looking in our mirrors as much as anywhere else.
Can't trust a cager no matter what they're doing.

Maybe it's just a form of pay back.
Maybe some car drivers are just becoming as obnoxious as a shit load of bike riders.Every lane splitting rider seems to think undertaking is fine when it's them doing it.Put the boot on the other foot an listen to the hypocrites whinge.
Sounds funny as fuck to me.

Aha....I do not lane split so I am off the hook......but anyway, undertaking a biker, with traffic in front (so no where to go) on a single carriageway is a lot different to lane splitting cause, whilst I do not do it, at least there is thinking and a purpose to lane splitting in heavy traffic whereas what happened to me this am is just a
f!@#ing different ball game.......Sounds funny to me...not....he he

I had the same heading towards Kumeu at Westgate a while back. I was "owning the road" as they say and someone tried to undertake me.

There was no room to do it on the road - this guy had to use the shoulder in order to do it - and just stayed there.

    ... wish I was a cop... that'd be funny.
