Tragic, bloody tragic.

Had a similar 'close-call' following Jantar in the Cromwell Gorge, he passed a large camper van, I waited a few seconds and then was all set to do the same but 'instinct' made me hold back and yep, a car came past the other way........
So easily done, beware people...

Im in the UK at the moment, roads are really terrible and cars dont give a stuff about bikers, worse than nz esp as the roads are so narrow you have no room to lane split or avoid a car oncoming.

Im really sorry to hear that dude, im in Cromer at the moment and i have been hearing a lot about biker fatalities even in this quiet area.

i know cromer and the east coast really well, it was where i spent alot of my childhood. my family is from WELLS/ HOLKHAM, my great grandfather was a lifeboatman R.N.L.I in WELLS his name is on a rememberance plaque in the wells lifeboat house as he was killed rescueing people in bad weather.

Thankyou very much guys for the kind words, i am sure Bruce would well appreciate what you have all said. He was one of lifes good guys and would always be there to help out. it really is a small minority of bikers killed in all honesty but becouse the biking comunity is so tightly woven together someone will always know someone who has been unfortunate unlike car driving where it really is very common but you dont think of it in the same way...

Ive just been down to the lifeboat dock a couple of days ago, which year was your grandfather's? Some braver men than me who man that lifeboat, especially back then. Its pretty amazing how it launches into the North Sea like that.

I did the seal tour at Morston yesterday, im going to try and go by Wells Holkham today. What was your grandfathers last name? Her family also manned the lifeboat at that time and probably knew each other.

hi, my great grandfathers last name was WILLIAM WORDINGHAM, 29TH OCTOBER 1880 is the year and the Elisa Adams was the boat. If you go to Holkham hall on the main entry road just before the gates on the left there are some cottages, my aunty lived in one for around 40 years as she worked in the hall, i spent alot of time as a kid there. The seal trip is good hope you enjoyed it. i think the hall is now owned by the duke and duchess of leicestershire but it may have changed by now. my perants have just recently moved back that way to Lowestoft.
