Funny thing is, I told the Doc that I am at my best when riding, never had even an inclination as I'm at my most relaxed, but she didn't buy it....Originally Posted by paturoa

Thanks again everyone.
Like I said, there are people a lot worse off than me, I'm still alive and also still have an intact bike so all is not lost.

Good on ya for taking the Doc's orders, something I’ve never done and relay should have!
We all have our little obsessions...
I tell you it's going to be tough !!! Especially when it's a nice warm morning in February with blue skies and a bike which is parked up in the garage with nowhere to go !!!,

Gidday,
sorry to hear about the 12 months layoff.
As someone suffering from a "chronic" condition who lives in fear of the doctor invalidating my licence at any time, I feel for you.
Keep on the site, your opinions are worth listening to, get yourself right, and come back refreshed and more in control.
Maybe things like this happen for a reason that you just don't get right now.
You keep that Kwaka polished, you hear? Don't let the fuel injectors gum up, or the tyres perish.
We could all take turns keeping it warm for you, if you like...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Take care, we will be thinking of you. Bodies do heal, hope all goes well, and as quickly as possible.
Can you get it reviewed earlier if symptoms change?

Well apparently it can be reviewed at 6 months but my Neurologist is a 60 year old (I think) lady who takes no sh1t and lives by the book....don't like my chances....Originally Posted by kickingzebra

Nuerologists seem, in my limited experience to be relatively strange people... But normally have the best interest at heart..
What about on the track??

a cheap xr250 or something and go on some organised trail rides, dont need a license for them and if you go with a mate clued up on your condition?
