Mate you know what my thoughts are from the conversations we've had.

Don't despair the licence forfeit will come & go, and discretion is the better part of valour. its better to subdue the beast than have it bite you in the ass when least wanted.

Thoughts are with you & bridgy

Oh man, Nude that sux! Good excuse to turn a spanner and give your mount a freshen up thought. We should get together for a good ol fashioned tune up party.

I hope the time goes fast for ya man.

    So, I've had better days.

Poor ZX-10 will have to sit in the garage with the occasional start-up.

What a bummer, last year I was passing out unexpectedly and there was some thought it might have been epilepsy but they ruled that out just kept taking my license off me for 6 weeks after each episode. Hasn't happened for a while, I'm hoping that it was connected to my dicky ticker and after its recent rebore the problem will disappear

    Oh yeah - HOWDY guys!!

No-one has ever said anything about wanting a free bike (it'd be nice, but not likely) - Bike sitting on the other hand, I've never had a problem offering to help people. I like to help out wherever I can.

Jesus, Chris that aint good mate, but as usual your attitude is great about it. We could all stand to learn a lesson from you there.

    As far as a project goes... how about we sort something out - I'll tell ya what;
I'll look after the ZX for ya (free of charge) and you can rebuild a wrecked bike that I'll buy aquire for you. Now ya can't past a deal like that!

Being alive is good. Restrictions will save you a bit of cash too! Save the gas mnooney and buy yourself something exotic when you 'get out'.

...didn't mean free bike, Col, meant free to look after bike.... ha ha. Perhaps I could flick the machine your way if you want.

    What about on the track??
Did think about trail riding, like an XR or something, but think the Neuro lady might get upset about that too.
I think track-racing will probably be the same.

Ah well, time to think if I will keep the '10 or do it up and sell it and get something different.

By the sounds of things its only 12 months. I know it will seem like forever right now but once you have it under control Im sure you will be back on da road! That will be a good day.
    All the best
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.

    Cheers Madmal.

Col,..The beast needs a little work at present, RHS forkseal and new front tyre as well as a little carb balancing to cure the rough down low running. I'll get that sorted and be in touch if you want to borrow it.

Sorry to hear the news, hope all goes well.
Re the bike -imho its probably better to sell it while its in good nick and save for something better (or same again if you like of course) Bikes tend to deterioate if left sitting for long periods, often depite the best efforts and intentions. And it will be another year older. Having the money in the bank will give you lots of options.

That's a real bummer mate. You'll just have to get the ZX restored and start it up in the weekends.

Any idea of the long term prognosis? (Now that's a big word).
