Any idea of the long term prognosis? (Now that's a big word).
Well, I have to have another MRI and EEG so they can find the cause of the recent seizures and then stabilise them.

Damn that's a really tough call to feel able to ride but not be allowed too. Don't know if would have the will power. Sorry to hear and hope your health comes right as quickly as poss.
I'm with Sels that for a year you might want to sell the bike now. In a year there will be all sorts of new models and near new goodies to pick from.
Also you had better consider what if the unthinkable happens in a year - and we all hope not, that the Doc extends the ban. Then you would suffer the double blow of losing a year's use AND a year's depreciatíon before putting it on the market.

Thanks MD and you do speak sense with that opinion.
I am now seriously contemplating doing up the '10 and selling her while she's still worth something and going fine.

12 months will go quick (I hope) and the household is not totally bikeless with the Missus still riding her VT.

    Arrow Sorry to hear mate.

Hope at the completion of the 12 months you have been given the go ahead to ride and at least the bike will be there waiting for you, (edit: or not).

Back off Smorgie!! I'm the "Greasing upf people for a free ride" guy around here (apparently)
