    Fitting front fairing

Ok, last night I thought I would try out my new garage and repair a crack around the front right indicator light that had been annoying me. Well I get out my trusty scredriver and A Key and set to work removing the front fairing.

Well it appears that to get on part of the fairing off you need to take it all off. I got most of the way until things such as headlights got in the way but I had enough things lose to get in behind and repair the crack.

Now I go back to putting everything back together. As murphy's law would dictate the bloody thing would not go back on straight (and I have a spare bolt) One side appears to be further across and the light doesn't seem to be sitting right.

Would any kind Kbr have a tip for getting this bloody thing straight or would anyone have a spare 30 mins on the weekend to help out a honda owner that aint used to having to fix his bike

    Many thanks all

    Jonty

Where abouts are you? I don't recognise the place name. If you're around auckers let me know as I don't have much in the way of plans this weekend. I just had all the fairings and lights + instruments off my bike about three weeks ago. It's an F2 with F3 front fairings. All the bolt holes should be the same. Oh, and if that fails, I'm short two bolts so I don't mind taking any spares off you. Have a look on the net, the F2/F3 workshop manuals are pretty easy to find.

GR81 - thanks mate that would be much appreciated. I'll PM you

WBM - cheers for the offer but Wellington is my bonnydoon at the moment. Have given the shop a call and apparently this bike is a little notorious for this - need to have your toungue the right way
