I've hit a few things in my time riding...excluding the obvious like cars...

    Heres the short list:

    * X1 Black & white cat, he didnt make it
    * X1 Pigeon, got embedded in the down pipes of my first Fireblade
    * X1 Sea Gull, put scratches down my helmet (the one on my head people !!)
    * Numerous push bike couriers
    * X1 Asian gentleman who ran out in front of me ...eeeek

    Think thats it
    Doesn't play well with others

Pull Me, Nick Me, Try Me, Ban Me !!

Haha I thought you were joking about the occy you get bling for hitting the most odd thing of all.

Ps: Occy's are great fun to catch especially large ones. You stick your knife inside his beak (be very carefull not to get bitten because they can do some serious damage with it) and cut his mouth open big enough so you can fit your hand in it (by now he has lost control of his beak and can no longer bite anything. You put your hand up unside his head and with your other had push the top of his head down into your hand thats inside him. Grab the top of his head with your hand thats inside him and then pull it down and out through the hole that your hand is in. You can fold them inside out and see everything!. Its really quite neat!.

I only do this to ones we intend on eating though, not for fun

riding my Vmax along a back road in Ohio a few decades ago.. tooling right along at warp 3 about 11 pm.. looked up and saw 2 sparkely bits in the road..as i got closer.. it turned out to be a White tail doe stretched out on the tarmac..... nothing i could do but keep it nailed..

    i heard myself say..

    "fuck.. this is gonna hurt.."

she heard the engine and bolted... ended up running over her rear legs... luckily.. my bung-hole had a firm grip on the seat and i managed to stay on the bike..i got stopped finally, and looked behind me but she was long gone ..

    STORY #2

dad and i built a sand rail ( dune buggy) .. Lateral brakes .. the whole shooting match.. i used to drive it back in our woods .. great track.. few jumps and hairpins etc..

one of the jumps crossed over a small-ish stream.. just after a blind hairpin..i'd lock the left side brakes and crank the wheel.. nail the throttle and release the brakes and make a spectacular jump.... did this MANY times ...

all but one time i made it ..

went through the sequence.. hit the gas and looked up...

someone had dumped a REFRIGERATOR dead center of the stream...

snapped the frame in half..rolled 8 times..the wreck is still there ...

    My Girlfriend

I ran over my girlfriend once.

It wasn't my fault as She did admit that if she hadn't suddenly lunged for the remote control, I would have safely continued through to the kitchen without incident...

I've HIT live things before, there was this time me & memate glen tamahori, that's lee's brother (director), will anyway were heading down to lake fairy on an old gravel road when rounded the bend , well hello here's this cow it started chargeing across my line and then it looked like it was veer a away, so slowed a little as if headed a diffrent direction and soon as i gassed it a little more throttle it came back at us. Bike damage with steering & two bodies sprawed over the gravel, cow carried on it's merry way. The owners of had spotted what happened & try anything to keep us happy, although they new they where responseable for the cow being out of the fence.

Had a fuck off fat woolly sheep pounce out from behind a tussock right in front of me as a youth...(didn't see who she was in there with though...)
Was on an RM 400 trail riding...got the front wheel over it, but the fucking thing got wedged under the frame and the back wheel didn't ride up over it.
Threw me over the bars it did.

Nah its really quite interesting, you can see its eyes and brain and ink sack.

Octopus is beautiful to eat too. We used to catch them quite often in rock pools on Waiheke Island and also while fishing landbased between Palm Beach and the left hand point of Onetangi at spot X. Used to get some bloody big buggers!. Stretched out the biggest one I ever got was about 4.5 foot long.
