But I reckon if they keep on competing they will end up with 2000c bikes which wont even look like bikes nemore..but the busa is a dream mate ! Smooth as anything ! Raaaah Go the busa anyday !

    Quote of the week......

What do you mean IF.... there is already a 2300 cc bike..... you got to get out more.

Coming for a 250 cc rider / 11 year old bike........

    Do some more research buddy ...... those figures are everywhere..... 163 - 171 RWHP / 99 - 105 RWT

check below link to a thread of 62 dyno runs ... from stock to over 200 BHP.

I take it you didn't test ride the new 14 Pete? Once you do you'll be closer to a convincing decision matey.

At the end of the day they're both doing the same job at 3x the speed limit.
I'd be happy to own either if I was looking for a sports tourer. Quasi's point was that you can't personaly mud the 14 unless you've owned it, or at the very least test riden it. Also, by what means did you arive to the conclusion that it's a piece of shit?

Havn't ridden the 14 though it looks ok in the piccies.
Own a Busa and ridden it for 7000 kays and whilst it aint the prettiest of bikes it is an absolute pleasure to ride with surprising comfort. It'll be a while, if ever, before I ride it to its limits.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    Good one mate.
And if you'd 'spoken' to me before you got ripped off (sorry, bought)....
You'd not listen anyway....because BMW riders kid themselves into thinking they've done well.
And I don't need to ride the latest incarnation of shit to know what they're like.
Expensive, heavy, shaft driven, sterile piles of poo. Purchased by people who want a wanky badge, and don't realise they could spend half as much and get a better bike from the land of the rising sun.

Tell me in your own words....what justifys the purchase price of one?
What do they do better than the rest?
Why does the motorcycle division of BMW lose so much money?

Cause I like it and can afford it...... fuck the badge ... if a jap, or brit or yank or italian bike appealed to me and looked looked like it and I could afford it I'd buy it to.

    24k for a ZX-14 - $27K for a Bema ...... Whose getting ripped off?
