Have ridden a ZX12R felt very big even bigger than my GSXR1100 . Didn't get to give it a trash as owner was on mine & thought better of it . Still great bike not as much bottom end as I thought there would be but as above didn't go looking for it . Abit of a strange bike tho not to sure where it was intended for Fast it was but Sports Tourer ?? not really sure . A shoot out of the top Beast shall tell us all what we need to know .

I'll bet that very few owners have topped out a Busa, ZX14, or even most of the litre bikes.
So who really gives a fat rat's arse whether one is a poofteenth of a km/h faster?
Someone talk about how they handle.

Apparently they handle pretty well!....Sorry, couldn't resist! I agree, though. I haven't topped out my GSX-F either. Sad, eh? Or maybe I just enjoy riding it around our roads and I'm careful where I stretch its legs. Anyone done 300km/h around the Coro loop? I've asked before, how frustrating is it to ride on public roads a bike that does over 160km/h in FIRST gear!?

Mine won't rev to 14k! Mine's old, only redlines at 12k.

Das ok! My ol' T500 redlined at 6! My GSX at 12k sounds pretty cool! And 80hp is about twice the T500's too! Got taught about modern litre bikes when I was passing a couple cars on the Coatesville Rd one day. Was about redline in third, thought I was goin' pretty quick when an R1 blasted past us all like we was goin' backwards!

Yup real slow....... conpared to a.......?
Yup low tech ...ABS, Fuel Injection, Can-Bus fly by wire..... duo lever front end....on board computer...... ESA (electronic adjustable sports Suspension)... heated grips.......at least my hands will be warm to play with my diddle.....
Yup costs more to service (than what, an equivalent sports tourer?) its all relative.... or a single cylinder... 2 stroke..... oh yeah NO stretched chains..
Oh and I got to choose lots of things on my K1200S beforw they made it.....
Oh yeah and a 2 year warranty......

Never have bagged another bike on here.........

Hell it was a toss up between a 14 and K1200S........ one arrived a 5 weeks before the other...... and only 5 x 14's arrived in the first shipment. Imagine having to wait for anything mass produced from Japan..... OMG!!!!

Stil drool over the Ducati I could have bought ... but did not .... now there is servicng costs.....!!!!

Still scares the shit out of me and gives a big grin at the same time....... and that is all that matters.

Don't mean to be rude but is this a car or a bike we're talking about?

Have had my GSXR K3 Hit top gear limiter chasing a guy up here on his Busa on a road I know very well & still could only keep up . This road is fairly twisty with alot of up & down corners so yes Busa's handle bloody well freaked be out how fast they can go around tight corner at high speed . They raced the Busa in the USA as well . Just since you asked thought an answer would be nice >
