No,thats objectivism, silly. Your experience of the wheel falling off is phenomenology. The scientist asks "Which wheel, and why ?". The chicky asks "Did it hurt?" .The engineer asks "Do you want me to stick it back on". And the mechanic quietly goes and modifies all the other wheels so none of them will fall off.

Nah! The Mechanic sticks it back on and recommends an engineer has a look at it to see why it fell off. The Engineer redesigns the vehicle so that when the wheel falls off the other wheels compensate. The Scientist forms a hypothesis as to the probable reasons for the wheel to fall off and performs several experiments to establish his theory. The Chick does indeed ask if it hurt and where did it hurt and "Can I put something on that for you?"

But --- did you say it transcendentally or hermeneutically. That is the important question. Which? Choose, and choose well, much may rest upon your answer.

I remember you mentioning something about this previously. I'm really actually sorry to hear about what is going on. It is one of the last things that you both would ever need. I do hope that the residency thing works out in your favour, I really do.

Please let Nats know that I'm thinking of you both.

All my love and best wishes.

    Theresa

Think he said "in two easy sentences"? Something like, "We see things differently according to our preconceptions arising from our personal backgrounds." And, "We're all individuals which colours our views". I could be oversimplifying things of course.
