Absolutely! The problem with the stock seats is that the foam is too soft, and therefore, it doesn' absorb any impact, which leaves you feeling sore.

I spent all day on the bike yesterday and it is significantly better than stock. Go to www.trimit.co.nz and check out the testimonials.

I found my VTR quite comfortable.. THEN the foam wore out and I couldn't ride for 30mins without jumping around. Unfortunately, I wrote off the VTR the day after getting my custom seat . But for that one day I was very comfortable!

Looks great.. would be interested to know how more comfortable it would be.. as others have asked.. especially on long trips.

Other than that, yeah it looks mint!

I got the bike back on Friday night and spend all yesterday on it. After 4 hours sitting on the bike, I still had loads of feeling in my butt and could have easily whipped around the mamaku block on the way home.

These babies enable you to do 500+ km without getting sore. This is because you know where the seat puts pressure on you, so that's the part of the seat you change. If you can reduce any pressure points, then it's a given that your seat is going to be more comfortable. My seat basically gave a wedgie so I raised the front a touch. I'm not in a touring position - just not sliding into the tank/my undies anymore!

The change to my seat also means that I don't have to perch on the front of it anymore. I'm only 5'4" so previously, I had to sit on the lowest part of the seat (around town) incase I needed to stop in a hurry. Otherwise, I'd never reach the ground! Now I can sit in a more comfortable position on the seat because it's that little bit lower.

It HAD to be different to anything we've ever done before and, being a girl's bike, it had to scream out "girl".
Finally, and after much frustration, I managed to make a decision. What do ya reckon, does it say "girl" to you?
AHA!!! Now I know who you are.

How is your seat stacking up to expectations? Alot of people have asked how much the comfort level differs betwen your stock seat and custom seat.

My hubby still has his stock seat on his hornet and hates riding my bike because my seat is so much more comfy, he's saving his $$ now for one too!
I love it, never get a sore ass, love being able to "scoot" back and have the back of the seat there as an extra "secure" feeling too.
Also makes my bike look so much sexier than a stock seated Hornet, just looks a bit different.
I orginally got it done to shave a bit of height off the seat, but didn't really lower it enough and ended up paying for a new shock to fix the problem, but love my seat anyway, glad I got it, and recommend these to everyone, especially anyone who does a lot of longer rides, or gets a sore ass or has hip problems!

I'm the same with my seat - I like it to look sexy and different!
I replaced the seat cover on my VTR (just plain black with the embroidered Firestorm logo) and it was original, well, for about a week! A guy saw it in a brochure and said "I want that seat!" so then mine wasn't original anymore
It doesn't bother me too much because we use our own seats to experiment...

And instead of 'Motogirl', replace it with 'Rich Bitch' or 'Sexy Bitch', anything that'll give guys the impression that you're easy

Oh, and get a big bore exhaust. I was thinking of getting a truck exhaust, debaffle it and fit it onto my RG
