if the weather clears up, yes.. still meeting at BK, Te Rapa at 10am.. Road Rash will be there regardless, so I think it's only fair, since I started the Hamilton Rides thread, that I also show up..

You just got no imagination Winj. Cige companies common as muck. Booz barons not much better. Why not try the new kids on the block. A Whore House and give yourself a bit of style.

    Arrow Winja, great idea.

However some bleeding hearts anti-smoking group are likely to preform like trained seals should it happen. I'm sure there are other companies/franchises you could approach, but do not have any great idea. Maybe an anti-smoking group could paint up your bike?

I think you will come unstuck here:

    SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENTS ACT 1990

(1)No person shall use, otherwise than in a private capacity, a tobacco product trade mark—

(a)On any article other than a tobacco product or a package or container in which a tobacco product is sold or shipped; or

(b)For the purpose of advertising or identifying to the public—

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

However I don't see how it would be any more gay than a smoking paint job. If a DHB did it Id suspect that it would look pretty cool. These days they design things to a target group and I guess they would target the younger generation. You could be surprised with what they could come up with. An anti-smoking slogan with some Maori designs would look cool, they can do it to my suzuki for free if they want, provided they are removable decals like the graphic that are already on it.

i seriously doubt a single person on a bike with cigarette branding is gonna get fined for their paint-job.. maybe the government will say.. "here's the money, now get the paint changed" problem solved

Why would they want to sponsor a bike that never gets ridden?
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

    He has a point

Most people in this country that still smoke buy rollies now so you're best to target them. A Port Royal paint job would look pretty sweet and be very different. You'd probably confuse the do gooders too cos they'd never have seen one before so their poor, simple little brains would be all confuddled.
