Oh shit...that's gonna be a freaky fine. Make sure friend turns up to the court appearance though. I didn't, and fuck they didn't give me any mercy.

Your friend didn't get pinged after being at O'Hagan's pub with a few confidence boosters in him/her did he/she?

    He blames his missus.

He stopped to check a text message on his phone when the guardians of the community pulled up in their lovely tax payer funded Falcon XR6, metallic green one.

Hmmm, up north of Auckland perhaps???

If this is the same one as I'm thinking of, the rozza is getting his quota filled damn quickly. Probably only works 1 day per week... Sunday!

    Shame about the "friends" predicament...

Was the 'missus' texting the 'friend' to watch out for the cop ahead

As stated earlier a possible $1000 fine.
But how long off the road for??????????????

Will the 'friend' apply for the special license to get from home to work and home again?

OMG that's gotta be painful. Fine case for having a fake plate mounted so that you can still bounce when he's stopped behind you.

Maximum $1000.00 fine plus court costs. No disqualification. (Must have been his lucky day to only get Exceeding 100km/hr).

Why does a cop need to give more?? Excessive speed isnt always a baby killing murders excersise and in the wops a thou fine is enough punishment is it not?

Why should police give careless which can ruin your life out so easy? ok I know speeding can ruin your life too......... but when there is the exceeds limit charge why are they always so keen on slapping the careless thing on as well?

Yeah, I wasn't there so don't know the circumstances but usually at those sort of speeds, Dangerous Driving or Dangerous Speed is the usual outcome. It only has to be proven that the driving or speed "was or might have been dangerous to the person or members of the public".

And for Exceeding 100km/hr, you have to do a court file anyway so it doesn't really matter which one you do as far as time spent on paperwork goes.
