    Got a new bike

Yeah, got my first 'big' bike, well bigger than a CG125 rocketshit!

It's a great bike in fact, with only 2 strokes the performance is great!

Well I won't keep you waiting anymore it's a lovely bright green Kawasaki KR250, a 1985 model, and it is the rare 'S' model with powervalves.

250cc of 2 stroke goodness, around 45-50hp and 134kg so it's quite light.

Handles SOOO nice, just drops in to corners, very nimble, and just LOVES turning in with the skinny tires 100/80-16 on the front, and a 120/80-18 on the back, 16 inch front wheel is very nimble.

Performance is great, did the akaroa run a couple of sundays ago with a whole lot of big bikes- GSX-R600's, R6's GSX-R750's SV1000's etc and kept up NO worries, in fact I was having to slow down on the corners for the heavier bikes, and with the 2 stroke, plenty of punch out of the corners.

Heres a couple of pictures of it:

I can imagine you having fun on this, certainly a step up from the CG. Looking good.

    Arrow Meh.

I rubbed my eyes, looked, rubbed again and cleaned my glasses and still cant see the pictures. What am I doing wrong? Anyway, enjoy the bike, I used to have a mate with one when I was a teenager and I had a RD250LC.

Nice bike dude...must be one of the few things from the '80's that still looks good.

Sounds like it'd be a blast to ride too
