If she won't pay straight up, then court is your option. Easiest way is to pay for the repairs yourself, then go to the civil section and file a claim with the disputes tribunal. Will cost you approximately $40, but that's ok, you can claim that from them too. If they still don't pay (assuming the adjudicator find you to be in the right), then you can have a court order made, which they can only ignore at their peril. Have your day in court, it's your right, and mighty good fun!

So there is a paper trail back to you.
Unless I'm wrong.

A MEGA thanks to the "saint" who just helped me, I will be taking action...princible and all that...it's a company vehicle, so will be paying them a visit on friday.....I want to do this in person, I like to look people in the eye, much harder for them to lie, bullshit or weasal there way out. paying up will be the easy option for them, lets hope they take it.
Cheers one and all.![]()
Yeah, I was told about that, so went to the site and clicked on suspend rego, they have already changed the site and it does not give you owner details anymore, I clicked one step to far and suspended his rego, opps, honestly did not mean too. 2 wrongs do not make a right and all that, so I got the transaction number and emailed land transport to cancel the process, apologised profusely for my error. As much as I would of liked to have left it.... why stoop to their level though.Originally Posted by mdb

Good. Sorted. Sorry, got here late. Could have helped - tomorrow....
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
