    ZXR problemo :\

    yesterday ->
    ok, funny noise for awhile now so i decided to check valve clearances, they are all within spec

    naturally did oil filter at same time
    some chump recommended this spectro bullshit, reckons they put it in all the bikes that go through their workshop, sweet as. pricetag label said 20/50
    grabbed it off him changed oil/filter,

    notice actual oil bottle says nothing about it being multigrade 20/50 infact its a straight 50, this is some thick snotty bullshit.
    i ring him back up and question him and he reckons yea yea sweet as all good.

    bike starts sweet as, figure ill just do another oil change sooner if it doesnt start as well in the mornings..

    today ->
    wake up, listen to few mp3's, get ready to go to tech, go to start bike, cranks, cranks, cranks

    doesnt start up...
    crank crank crank crank crank

    not starting up, regardless of choke or not.

    think sigh... oil..... sigh.......

    so i leave it for hours n hours, put it out in sun, try get it a bit warmer or something
    go back later and try crank it over, nothing......, sigh....., figure ill do a cold oil change and then just change it again afterwards, so i drain oil that i can and throw my usual magnatec in it and charge battery.

    come back 2 hours later, battery says charged, sweet.
    go to crank it over, keeps cranking, cranking,

    will not start.
    so i take out the plugs, they are dirty and wet, so i turn it over without plugs to see if i can get some moisture out, put those aside and throw in another set of plugs i have, checked lead+plugs to make sure they are firing, incase i bumped some main plug, they are firing.

    stick em all back in, crank crank, nothing......

    and here i am one fucking annoyed depressed soul, so neutral in the world and just want to go to sleep. the very kind of time i would jump on the bike and go for a blast..

    only i cant.

    please help me

    What bike shop was this?
    To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
    And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
    For the ashes of his fathers
    And the temples of his Gods

    Kill switch?
    Failing that find a hill and give it a big crash start.

    What was the spark like when you checked it ? a nice fat blue spark or a piss weak yellow ?
    When the bike was running prior to this would it idle nicely or was it a piggy ?

    If the spark was weak on testing it may not be enough to ignite the fuel or may not even spark when in the head.

    It may be a ignition problem, the likes of a malfunction in the system or a defective IC ignitor, pickup coil may be defective etc ?
