The K100LT was fitted with a CIGAR lighter. Please, nothing so plebian as a mere cigarette lighter.

I wish I had it on mine

so I could plug a GPS (still not familiar with some parts of Auckland) instead of using up (expensive) batteries.

Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

    A what??

BMWs esp of that vintage are the quintessence of German engineering. They are no-nonsense machines designed to transport you over large distances in the most boring way practicable. This & the silly price they command is why you see they are popular with the OAP bowling set.
But I don’t imagine even their owners refer to them as rather nice

It’s like saying ‘that Helen Clarke, she’s a bit tasty eh mate?’
Don't you look at my accountant.
