OK - so plan b is me and blackbuell are meeting at BP Botany at about 1.00 - we'll hang about for a while - like till we get bored - and then first stop will be 'my right eye'. then points south west.

Who is going with whom and to which direction are you heading in.

I have figured that there may be 3 groups heading out... I think...

Buggy's group (16 and Kaukapakapa) - buggy, speedy.......

    TLRider's group (Mangawai Pub, Only 15mins+ from Wellsford ) - ???????

Big Dave's group (south somewhere) - Big Dave, blackbuell and ?????????

    Anyone else....lol.

Lou at work slaving away for Annie...
The_Dover is push biking his way to where ever he can meet up with a group...lol.

Excellent work! The cops will have no idea who went where, at what time or for how long!!! Confuse the enemy!!!

Well, I'm back in the office now.

Got sick of waiting for Finn to catch up, those MVs are a bit heavy for bungee cords so I cut loose the dead weight and powered on.

    Not a bad little ride.

Bungholes. I contented myself with tearing after some guy on an 888 or similiar at a great rate of knots through "Traffic" (Hamiltron)
And then doing stoppies at the lights all the way back to the orifice.

So suck on that you motorcyclist misfits!

k, got back about half an hour to a ton of calls and emails..
I was with Speedy and Finn. I left them at Kaukop to keep on up 16 to Wellsford, and they're meeting TL about now or gone..

Ride wasn’t too bad. Albany to kaukop, then I left them at the pub (not in the pub tho) and came back, and they went on to meet TL up at Wellsford. I got stopped in Albany tho by the fuzz, came off the motorway, went over at the round about, the hooned up the hill (which is 50, then goes to 80) at about 1something give or take 20.. No one around, didn’t think too much of it. Got up to some traffic went past/thru, then saw headlights flashing in between the traffic with it all barrelling left and right, then this cop comes screaming up. I’m behind a nice Holden and we both pull to the side so the cop can pass. Nope. He pulls in behind me. Starts going on about how fast I was going etc and asked me a few times how fast I was going. I just said I didn’t know, cos I was looking where I was going (at that speed, ya hafta!) which he kept telling me I had to watch my speedo. I just left that. Anyway, he said that he didn’t ping me, so he wasn’t going to do me for speeding, but he was going to send me an infringement notice of some sort, to ‘teach me a lesson’.. I was all happy about it (didn’t say my occupation was ‘Arsehole’ btw) and didn’t take a grudge, and he let me on my way. Speedy and Finn had just gone past too, sticking their fingers up. The cop left, I got on the bike, and did a mean wheelie out of town. Probably shouldn’t have, but it was fukin good! Stoked with that.

Anyway, got to the station, they had a dig, we got going. No probs. Left them at Kaukop and headed back as usual. On Old Albany highway, I came over a crest, dodged some mud/hole in the road near a crest and a cop came the other way, so for some reason, I braked a tad, but with all that I had just done, it looked like I braked a lot more. So the cop does a U and comes after me. Half of me was thinkin about a bolt, but there’s no fricken roads round there that were close enough and I hadn't done anything anyway. So a couple of k’s down the road, they catch up. Go on about how fast I looked, and that I must have braked really hard, I said no.. And that I was doing around 100 – 105ish and it’s hard to maintain exactly 100 cos of the new tyre throws out the speedo and the bike is peaky in the cold and he said ok to that.. Went back to the car, had a chat with comms, 5 minutes later (I text speedy that I had been stopped again!) he said I was free to go. He said that he’ll leave his lights on so I can pull out safely and be on my way. It’s a dead road. So I got on, engaged first, then engaged warp speed 6 (can’t do 8 cos the cop was there) and left him for dead. Got to 100 and kept it steady all the way back..

so, pretty good lunch ride really.. guess i gotta work now
