Not sure about fxr... Strange though, for some reason, my fxr seems to read speeds spot on, if not a little low... (ie, I was following my parter in my car doing 100km/hr exactly... I was reading 94, but I know from experience with gps that around 95 is what my car is actually doing when it reads 100)
Anyhow so can't give you an fxr example, but I have a 125cc scooter that reads high (about 15%) and the odometer clocks about 15% quicker than it should as well. (ie 10km trip reads 11.5km) In overall, if it does read it from the same mechanism (in most cars I know and at least my scooter) odometer is just an integration of the speedo so any errors in speedo will introduce errors in odometer too...
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........
