    God, I love my job!

I get to sit in the showroom and listen to the absolutely *glorious* music of a GSX-R600K4 with race "bits" and pipe being given the mesage on our dyno all day.

    Heaven I tell ya, heaven!

Can't say, mate. I don't want any pedantic pricks flaming me about "using the site as an advertising medium!" I'm just here for the company and to learn and offer what advice I can. Same as you.

It doesn't matter how much power it makes, it's how it makes it and what gains you get through tuning that's important. All Dynamometers read differently. Ours has the advantage of being direct drive from the bike therefore eliminating slippage. It also simulates road conditions by changing the load on the bike. For example, we can have a Gixxer thou, wailing in fourth gear and load the Dyno right up and stall the bike! It's an impressive tuning tool and to my knowledge, the only one in NZ although they're designed and built in Petone. They all get exported to Nascar in the states and Touring car teams around the world.

To date the machine owes us well in excess of 150 grand.

    Damn, that looks pretty impressive.

So can you say how much over stock hp it has gained? What mods is he doing to it? You can't do that many for the 600's in the NZ series aye? Just pipe, remapping and a few others?

must take a while to get her onto the machine though. But no slippage is good - I think thats what caused my 28hp at the rear wheel, that KRR power spinning it up in 3rd

It's fitted with a 2 bros pipe today but the Yoshi full system will be here any day. You can raise the compression through the head gasket, change the cam timing and update the injection. We use the Teka tuner as it's the best for Suzukis and remaps the original controller. TRE and air filter go without saying. You'd normally expect 15hp over stock.
