Good point. The FZ1's big selling point as an "all-rounder" has been its fairing. I suspect Yamaha will sell more of the faired than the unfaired. But then it would have to be something pretty special to make it worth over $8,000 more than a Bandit. And a Bandit doesn't have an "Exup" valve to fanny around with if you want to fit a custom muffler...

Nice bike, not everyone knows (thank goodness) but yellow bikes are the best
I'm one of the worlds best riders. I can wheelie, I can stoppie, I can stunt, hell I can get my shoulder down. I could keep up with Rossie if I wanted to race.

Then I go from bed to bike and somehow it all turns to crap.

Not too keen on that headlight, otherwise it's very nice.

Hi Tony. Yes it's me. My previous handle was GSX1400 which obviously doesn't fit now. Crazy Steve was someone that was looking at buying the 1400. The FZ1-N is awesome. Wasn't sure about the passenger comfort but took my wife up to the Puhoi pub yesterday. She absolutely loved it and said it was more comfortable to pillion on than the 1400 was
