Good point. The FZ1's big selling point as an "all-rounder" has been its fairing. I suspect Yamaha will sell more of the faired than the unfaired. But then it would have to be something pretty special to make it worth over $8,000 more than a Bandit. Nice bike, not everyone knows (thank goodness) but yellow bikes are the best

I think you have just pissed of "Crazy Steve" he is a salesman for Waikato Yamaha and was expecting his new one any day now....It was going to be the 1st in NZAs far as I know it is the first one on the road in NZ and we have managed to secure another one as well which is sitting outside my office. It is still for sale as no one knows it is here yet

Hi Tony. Yes it's me. My previous handle was GSX1400 which obviously doesn't fit now. Crazy Steve was someone that was looking at buying the 1400. The FZ1-N is awesome. Wasn't sure about the passenger comfort but took my wife up to the Puhoi pub yesterday. She absolutely loved it and said it was more comfortable to pillion on than the 1400 was
