So you're saying that not being able to use all 100hp makes that level of power a waste?

Anyone can use it. Controlling it is an entirely different task.

Whoops.. forgot about y2k. That is true then.. too bad this guy can't afford one heheh.

Then I could be a smartarse and name some obscure 'production' turbo busa instead. Kinda like Gemballa Porsches.

Y2K has the record anyway, dunno what 400m times it does though.

You reckon that Shaun can really use all of the power of the StreetMagic, ALL of the time? I dunno man, those beasts are pretty raw.

Also when you have over 100hp on tap, you can almost be guaranteed of a decent midrange. My thou wheelies off a twist of the throttle, on the 750 you had to plan it out in advance.

because some people aren't satisfied unless they have the biggest, baddest, fastest, best, even if its more than they need.

And seen as how 20k will get you the some of the fastest bikes in the world. Its quite easy to succumb

most of people who start threads on here asking which bike is faster, how fast is this bike, how fast is that bike - which is the fastest bike i can get for my money etc etc probably never ridden anything quick. They dont understand how ludicris an R1 etc actually is.

Doesn't take you long to realise that you need talent, quite a bit of talent to out ride a bike with more than 100hp+ let alone the 155-160 of some of the top 1litre bikes.

Or look at it from another angle. You reckon you could significantly outrun yourself on a gixer thou if you were chasing yourself on a gixer 600?

And not that i have checked - but i would guess manufactures ranges are probably only 10-15% made up of bikes with greater than 100hp at the rear.
    gone.

Wise words, I got the shock of my life once to have passed a GSXR600 on the Tukkas. The guy (not a biker I recognised as welly crew) was all over the show, couldn't believe he was licenced. We pulled up at the top and he started talking to me. His tyres were bald and he admitted to being a learner.

That bike should have been able to eat me for breakfast then come back for lunch. It goes to show its not the weapon its how you use it.

i have my reasons why i want to know about these bikes. yes i know about the y2k, but, being able to afford something like that is a different story.

'lazy7', are you saying something about my skills as a rider?.if so come straight out and say it?????
i dont admit to being the best rider, cause im not. but i know how far to comfortably push my bike, and if you ask the guys i have ridden with, i dont try and be at the front where im pushing past my capability. but rather normally at the back, riding at my own pace.
