LMAO!! Maybe it is Jay's brother. Also NSR-Dan, I think you'll find he was referring to the year Y2K, not the ugly as sin MTT bike.

    Torque is the difference

There is nothing like the big torque of a large cc bike, that is what gives it a powerful midrange.

As they say - There is NO replacement for displacement.

You got to have ridden one to experience the feeling, you can just not explain it.

Hell it get ridden round by most riders in the twisties ...... but, we all end up getting there at the same time.

    Cheers.

I think you mean Jay. And Im fairly sure quite a few on KB saw The worlds greatest motorcycles (I can't remember what the damn program was called) and are ver familier with that story.

Besides, why should I nit pick, you seem to have it down pat.

because its a suzuki. and its to heavy.

it was only made to be the faster than the honda black bird. and displacement had to be increased by 300cc to beat it, i would like to see suzuki have the same engineering skills as honda and build a bike with same displacement. honda could come along and rebuild the blackbird with a 1300cc engine and i bet it will kick the pants of the busa.

oh and my mate has one, and its like driving a tank with 2 wheels.

To gain say only 10km/h when you are already doing 300km/h takes a lot of horsepower Dan. But when you bear in mind that the Blackbird is 1137cc and the Hayabusa is 1298cc (giving 161cc difference) rather than your claimed 300cc I think the Hayabusa is doing quite well.

    Interesting Link.

Mate, didn't 'piss' me, couldn't give a toss. Except when someone is obviously wrong. I'm a Suzuki fanatic through and through, but also realise that there is fuck-all difference between the different bikes in the top classes (ie 600, 1000, and super tourer).

No arguement there, I've always compared 2 stroke 250's to inline 4 400's in terms of power, but the 2 strokers are lighter. Love the smell, sound, and accel of the smokers.
