oh and my mate has one, and its like driving a tank with 2 wheels.

what does the ducati desmosedeci RR go like compared to all these other toys?

and with forced induction engines they dont have to be revved hard like a natraully aspirated engine to produce better power figures....

I have the 06 Bus and it goes well , i would even say quicker than the K5 i had but the new ZX14 will beat it on the drag strip. It would be hard to tell on the road. Both bikes will leave black marks on the road at 200ks.

Sounds like that faggot Mr Peanut (GO GET SOME PUSSY AND STOP FARKEN MOANING WITH YOU AND YOUR BIKE).

Shit I came on here to say that. I must be going loopy.

I had a look at the zx14r in the flesh yesterday.. impressive but exhaust pipes remind me of zz2r's too much.. arrgh, well.. it will take time to grow on me. Not like it ain't big enough as it is.

We still ain't reached a conclusion or was it MTT Y2K?

ZHeheh cheerio.. course time for me!

Yup Im with yer there Marty. Do you notice that it seems to be the riders of little bikes (1/4 bikes) that seem to have the loudest voices on these sort of threads.?

thats cos most of us dont have any idea how fast these bikes really are. i got to ride my dads fj1200 today, and now i think i wouldnt have the balls to crack a zx14r open in a even slightly twisty road, an fj was fucking mental quick.

i think ill leave this debate up to the people who have ridden the mental bikes themselfs and are unbaised.....
but fuck that fj1200 was incredibly quick and scary...and i didnt manage to get the throttle wide open in 3rd! i dropped nuts before then.... the big bikes more than likely dont have the handling of the small bikes but i can see why people ride them, and its not compensation either

    Why we ride

Funny that there is so much discension on this thread when it is all really chalk and cheese. Two of the best things about bikes are accelerating the arse off almost anything with four wheels and fangin around corners, and each requires different bikes with any amount of compromise in between.
The Rocket 3 is great for stretching arms and compressing arse cheeks but I bet you would work up a bit of a sweat round some tight coromandel windies.
Busa's are pretty nuts but even throwing them round windy roads is a handful. Either of these are MEAN straight line machines, so it really just depends on what flicks your switch and how many moths you want to keep in your wallet.
Found a great little side article in a Pommy bike mag (it's still floating around on the shelf somewhere) the gist of which was that if you rode a busa at 9/10 all the time you would spend more on rubber than you would on petrol!!!
