It’s just nice to know I care more about the torque and the lady went up from 77Nm to 96 and that makes the difference. I had a nice 900monster running for years with 88Nm and she was always good to shock some jap’s high tec bikes, unfortunately I had to leave her behind
and now one kiwi has the burden to set the pace

The current set up isn’t for road use and she misbehaves as soon as I let the rpm drop below 7000. I have to go for a more civilised EPROM and get the DB eaters back in, I’m tired to leave the house at 530 in the morning to find some empty roads. Might be worth moving back to NZ, so I can sleep in and having fun![]()

Making me sick now. Enjoy your awful life mate. I'll go for a big boned kiwi girl in a swandri anyday.

I'm lucky to push 110 bhp (129 crank) with full Arrows , FIM RS chip and 748RS cams / Corse Valves and it's acheiving similar results to the Moto one guys in Aus.
You possibly have the quickest "street" 748R in the world.

sunshine I was surprised as well, I’ve got a dyno sheet at home and it was done before and after the big bore was fitted. I will be at work tomorrow so I can scan and post it to you if you want too.Originally Posted by Mooch

maybe you have been just unluckyI have a couple of friends running 748r's with a similar output but I have to admit my lady is doing really well. the dyno was done with an intermediate exhaust system (silmotor) and dialed cam's. This run was just for fun and to find out if I have done a half a descent job plus we needed a set up for the break in period. I think you have lots of variables and for that, many possibilities to miss some extra kw or ps. For example, my old 900monster was perfectly running in Europe but she couldn’t handle the fuel in NZ. There was no way to have a nice trip on 92oct, 95 was just about all right in the winter time and slow riding but usually we had to stop for 98 or use some booster stuff.
Important is to have fun, doesn’t matters if you have 105 or 150ps as long as you drive a ducati![]()
