NOTHE HONDA THO LOOK AT JAREDS BIKE THEY SPENT OVER TWICE AS MUCH ON THAT BIKE THAN ANY ON THE GRID AND IT STILL WAS TOO SLOW.
YOU NEED BIG BUDGETS LIKE TEN KATE OR AUSSIE SPB TO MAKE THEM FLY
Yep I went for a looksee today at Amps. My main concern was finish, well I was pleased with the finish. My other concern is durability. Will keep an ear for the next 6-9 months, see if anyone has any problems.. Then will see what the new zx6r is like (if they do bring a new one out). The 675 has got my attention, and if Kawasaki follow Yamaha and build a very track orientated bike. Then I may find myself on a Triumph. I love my 636, but if they turn it into anything like the new R6 it would be a waste of bike for me. We all know I aint exactly a track demon.![]()
The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook.
Get the triumph. Its heaps skinnier so you could terrorize hoyhoy riders on motorways. KawaGhost Rider. -pity about rider width tho.
am i allowed to post here? i aint got no bike and i aint ravin..
I RECKON YOU SHOULD GET THE TRUMPY , EVEN IF ITS A FEW MORE BUCKS THE TRUMPYS TEND TO HOLD THEIR VALUE A LITTLE BETTER AND I THINK ITS THE NICEST TO LOOK AT OUT THE BUNCH , HAVE YOU EVER HEARD A TRIPLE WITH A GOOD EXHAUST BTW SOUNDS GREATOriginally Posted by Kawagreen
Another three weeks for mine to get here!
British engineering is the best ya know... They invented the cat and look how well that’s doing!
Odd how it got the #2 spot in a pommy mag, dunno when they’ve got a good thing!
Better sell the Bandit, kinder went over budget a tad!
We all have our little obsessions...
Would love to see one in the flesh but Hamilton-motorcycles dont seem likely to be getting one down, there's a reasonable online shoot-out here:Originally Posted by WINJA

summary:
Yes, the Trumpet comes out a clear winner on our score sheets, even if we wish its ergos were more accommodating and it had a slipper clutch. But had we included our subjective feelings, this contest would've been a bloodbath. The combination of a vastly superior street powertrain and the bike's distinctive appearance proved to be irresistible for our testers. Irresistible, you ask? Yep, just ask our head honcho, Becklin, who ponied up his own money and bought a graphite-colored Daytona for his personal use. Endorsements don't get any stronger than that.
A Ship in Harbour is Safe, but that is NOT what ships are built for
