They DO go better when nice and clean..... its a fact.

The ZZR has two air intake snouts under the headlight. These are covered by a mesh material that must have been specifically designed to collect Wasp's, Bee's and other such like insects. I didn't check my air filter for a while there and one or two of the said bugs made it past my airbox and into the carbies. End result = Bike broke down on a group ride due to massive flooding.

Preventative maintenance and cleaning are now two concepts I am getting my head around.
