    Yeah its gotta have a WOF no older than 28 days(1 month?)when it's sold) but as for Registration I dunno.

Have only just got to this thread so was going to offer to help write the letter (to help repay you for your kind copying of the GP's!) but I see MikeL has kindly done the deed. From reading his postings, I'd say you're far better off with his eloquence than mine anyway. Good luck, and do let us know how you get on. You've got nothing to lose by writing in.

    The offence is "used an unlicensed motor vehicle" because your rego doesn't actually expire. Only the "licence label" expires. If your vehicle remains unlicensed for a period of time, (I think it is one year) then the registration plates will fall out of the LTSA system and you will have to get new plates when you want to re-licence the vehicle.
