    Wellington TL1000 Riders?

Hi there, Ive just this weekend moved back to Wellington (cripes it was cold riding through national park on the way down from Tauranga)
I was wondering if there are any / many TL riders around here?
Its always good to have some like minded people.

Is that those who ride the same sort of bikes or ride like a nana ? Good to hear that you have made it down there safely. Cold? You need to harden up bro So when are we going for another ride? You go first this time though eh.

Hey John, yes, I know, but im more comfortable on the bike now.
It looks like ill be fairly busy for the first month, with the new job and trips away
Its a shame SH1 is so boring up to sanson! Is there a nice bar/pub up there to stop for a good feed?

But I reckon even a semi bad one would do. No hurry, get yoursef sorted out first as I need to get an a/l day to go riding in the weekends now. Let me know well in advance and I'll sort myself out, provided you are happy to ride rain, hail or shine. Might have to bring the DRZ for some real wheelies?

brent...where abouts do you want to stop...where does this bar of yours need to be?

the one on the corner in sanson [on the turnoff to welly] is meant to be quite good [band member i know plays there] and i saw a group of bikes stopped at the brick house, which is along the strait i think. the one about 10mins out of sanson [towards welly] with the wrecked boat out front is quite good too.

There's 4 TL1000S's in the group I ride with dude (in Wanganui), when in the mood for mono training we ride to a 'garden bar' that used to be known as Himatangi Wines I think (forgot new name). About 20k south of Sanson turn left towards Palmy at Himatangi (for you would be 10k past Foxton turn right).......always several bikers there........good food and plenty of space inside (since you get cold!) and out.........could hook up dude for a ride sometime?

Sorry for the late reply, ive been out of town for some training on the new job.

I guess two other TL riders is better than none!

Are either of you planning on going to the cold kiwi? Its not too far away and could be a chance to get a group of bikes togeather
