    Report on new fz1-n

Well, it is time for the first service already. Took my wife for a ride up to the Puhoi Pub via the Tahuna/Ohinewai Road, through Auck, and then through Riverhead Road. I wasn't to sure about how comfortable the pillion seat would be after the big bench seat on the 1400, but after a 500 km day I am happy to report that she loved it. In fact her last words to me last night were "AWESOME DAY, AWESOME BIKE. I LOVE IT" The performance and handling is awesome. We will do the first service this week and hopefully get some more K's on it in between this Shite weather and Fieldays. I will be on the Yamaha stand from Wed thru to Sat if anybody wants to come and have a chat about the bike. We still have another Yellow/Black FZ1-N for sale if anyone is interested. Take care out there.

You're going to have road bikes on the Fieldays stand?

I might hobble by on Thursday for a chat anyway.

Cool! I'll be the fuller-figured gent with the receding hairline, greying moustache, sauve titanium eyewear, and a limp...

You're not taking the gimp to the field days surely? Oh, limp....

I do think the FZ's a nice looking bike..... Would've been on my list but slightly over my budget at the time.
