    Lanesplitting

Finally got hit this morning. Didn't fall off though. Silly cow changed lanes while I was level with her window. I just thought about merging back into a lane because the traffic was mental this morning - weather, accident, blah, blah, spotted a gap went to move into it and she just moved over. Indicated as she went too.

Couldn't for the life of me figure out what was pressing on my boot. Ooo, it's a car door. I squirted round the front of her and split most of the way to work.

No damage, just a big fright.

Nice one! I've had to make a footpath mission a few times. Would be great fun if the consequences weren't severe pain!

FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Nice work J2, isn't it unbelievable when you're next to the drivers window. Even if she didn't look you'd expect some peripheral vision or something.

Glad to hear you are ok, and more importantly the Z's not damaged

Gotta love the cagers who move over while indicating.
What happened to the three second rule aye? Tell you what, the cagers aren't even nice to each other. If you do indicate for three seconds you haven't got a hope in hell of changing lanes in a car. They all rush to close the gap so you can't move in. That's why so many just move over, indicate at the same time as moving over or just start moving and then indicate.

No fun when you are filtering.

I have a company car but take the bike in on some days. Saves me at least half an hour in travel time but she's a bit like Russian Roulette.

The motorway around spaghetti junction is tricky as the all the lanes are so narrow to squeeze them all in there. Got to watch the mirrors through those bits.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

Glad to hear all worked out ok for you Jim, scarey shit! The other half lane splits on the way to work, but I don't have enough courage (or need as yet) to do it, always worried about the situation you found yourself in today. Well done for staying upright!

Vifferman coined the term - confirminators. As in, I have just changed lanes.
