Fly bike Spank...the red in the pics there looks better than in the official pics you posted a few days back.

Am I just blind though, or is there no engine mounts for mounting crash bungs? Don't tell me that you've gotta cut those pretty fairings to do so now?

That's bloody ridiculous, I thought Suzuki took these things in to account more than other manufacturers. Seems like styling cues took a higher priority this year. Shame...

I wonder what these 20+ cheap bikes does to the resale value of GSXRs?

It was one of the bikes at the Phillip Island press release, but only the blue/white bikes were ridden and my one was just there to show the color. With only 325kms and $1,500 below standard price, I took it.

Big thanks to SARGE for doing the deal, getting it ready so soon and letting me take one last goodbye ride on my SV while the 750 was being readied for the road. I’m gonna miss the V-Twin a lot, but after 7 years of riding SV’s, it was time for a change.

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to inform the members of my SV site that the site owner no longer owns an SV.
wow... that looks HEAPS better than the blue ones...

    *is insanely jealous*

Ha ha ha, I'd just love to hear some of the things they'll say after hearing the news. ha ha

Huge congrats to you fearless leader! She's a sexy looking bike alright.

One thing though, where's the chicky babe on top? It's unusual to see your bike posing for a photo shoot with out a babe on it.

Can't wait to see it in the flesh on a ride some time soon!

I saw one of these sitting beside a K6 thou' the other day (guess whose)...and it was rated at 103dB standard...while the thou' was rated at 92dB I believe...I didn't hear them firing...but that's pretty odd that they made it so loud.

There's now a very clean looking Silver SV1000s sitting at Coleman's for $8,995.

Love the new bike. Smaller and much lighter which is better for me. I've only been for a couple of rides outta town, but feel much more confident around the twisties and in the wet than I did on the SV.

Will always miss the V-Twin engine, but I'm really enjoying the new gixxer.
