Help Frosty. "Play It Backward"

The Track Day 3 crash (see Update on Frosty) has set Frosty back some what. Not only did he get hurt doing suff for us, but also his racing bike and racing gear (encluding his helmet). This is not cheap shit and is not cover for by Insurance for this accident.
Now we have heard the saying "Playing It Forward", well considering Frosty has "played it forward" for so many of us, I think it's time we "Played It Back" and helped him out.
To that end I have starting this thread.
I starting the ball rolling by donating $50 in to Frosty's Raceing fund acc to help out.

If ya want ta help too, please pm me or Frosty for bank details

You all know I will support Frosty in every way possible. I think the track staff at Taupo owe it to him to sort this out.

It was a major "bad karma" day for him but if/when OSH is to get involved. Hell think about this guys...they supposedly plan MotoGP here. Well forget it if the basic safety rules are forgotten!

Well I'm happy to help Frosty out for his racing costs then, even IF they do pay out (which will take sometime). We all know how much Frosty has done for us. It would not hurt us to put a little back into helping him regard less of the outcome with OSH and the Taupo Raceway, IMHO.

THEY screwed up and it could have been a whole lot worse. I got to the hospital and thought "Im heading home and his fiance and family need to be here"

He has done a lot for track days and KB ...BUT we have in NZ some laws that need to be taken seriously.

Taupo race track officials failed those fundamental rules IMHO

FOR FUCKS SAKE... Taupo wants to be a leading race track in NZ. Surely I am not alone on saying we havent got it?

Get a grip NZ ..theres rules that will not be acceptable in overseas standards

Does anyone have an issue in donating something to help Frosty for all the things he has done. If you have an issue with the track paying for his gear, bike etc. then how about you just donate a couple of bucks for the help he's given you...

I met a guy in Oz that taught me a valuable lesson a month or so back.

Never offer to help, just help. Don't ask if someone wants a hand to do the dishes - get off your arse and do the bloody things.

And so it goes with Frosty.

I do not see how helping Frosty out is some how letting the Track off the hook. OSH will deal to them in their own sweet time, and if Frosty finally gets compensation from them, then cool. Mean time it does not harm helping.

This thread was not set-up to argue who should be compensating Frosty, but was set up to help a mate.
