    Update on Frosty

Some of you might be aware that Frosty had an "incident" today at the end of the trackday where someone put the chain accross the pit lane not realising that Frosty and three others were going out for a session. Unfrotunately we not did realise in time and Frosty peeled off into the pits before anyone could reach the chain. He saw it at the last moment but was not able to stop in time. He managed to break the chain partly with the bike and then his arm and throat. Big thanks to those with the knowledge to be able to help straight after the crash.

I have just returned from Taupo Hospital and he is basically OK, although somewhat sore. They have X-rayed his throat and there appears to be no major damage but they are "deporting" him (true, that's what it says on his hospital bracelet!) to Rotorua hospital overnight just to be safe (Taupo hospital has limited Trauma facilities....like sweet stuff all).

A couple of messages from Frosty: a big thanks to all for a great day (...and everybody behaving themselves!) and naturally the Karting night is postponed (perhaps a mod could put this up for me).

who the fuck thgought they were important enough to close the track? Frosty has worked hard to bring track days to kiwibiker, and frankly, whoever put the chain across, should get a bollocking. it's almost criminal negligence.

    a speedy recovery Frosty.
