Dumb stuff done By non Bikers

I guess we've all encountered it . dumb comments or dumb stuff done by non bikers. This one has me crying and laughing at the same time.
I got my ex to drop my wheels in to swap the tyres on it for road tyres and bring the old set back . She did just that no probs. Later on that day I called her to ask where the tyres they took off the rims had gone.
' I saw that they were bald tyres so I told them just to throw em away"
Yep A almost new front slick and a half worn rear slick now in a jumbo bin somewhere --

FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

It's interesting that what you say and what somone may hear can be completely different. It's a universal problem really.

What a bugger though. :disapint: At least you can laugh about it.

Are you sure this isn't part of the problem!?

If I'd asked my ex to do the same thing she'd have built a bonfire with them!

Mate of mine had a Norton Commando and a pre unit BSA 650 in pieces in his bedroom at home - nice and safe. His father died while he was in the South Island and by the time he got home his sister had thrown all that old shit out.Someone found a good score on the side of the road.Another guy found a complete Triumph engine around the back of a factory - so he tossed it in a skip bin all covered up and was going to go back that night to pick it up - yeah, right.

I found a good score in a scrap metal pile once - 2 1972 Triumph Tiger cranks and two pre unit Triumph crankcases (T100 & 5T) welded together in a V - no use for anything so had them on the mantlepiece for years. It was only last year or so that I saw a story in Classic Bike about a V4 Triumph built in New Zealand, complete with picture.I emailed them saying that I had had the cases at some stage.I have no idea where they are now,I must have given them to a friend, but no one seems to know.

My Lady toss anything out - I wish!
